Privacy

IsThisImageAI checks whether a picture looks AI-generated. This page describes what the service actually keeps.

Images

An uploaded file, or a file downloaded from a URL you submit, is held in memory only long enough to run the detector. The temporary file on the inference service is deleted as soon as the score is computed. We do not build a gallery and we do not use your images to train a model.

We do keep the text of the verdict, the confidence score, the plain-English reasons, and the numeric heatmap for up to one hour. That record contains no image bytes. It exists so a Max subscriber can download a PDF of the check they just ran. It is then deleted.

Free checks

Free checks do not ask for an email. We set a random identifier cookie in your browser and store a hash of the IP address seen by the server. Both counters are used for the 20-image monthly allowance. This is bypassable, and it is not an account.

Accounts and payments

Pro, Max, and API require an email. We send a one-time sign-in link. If email delivery is configured, that link is sent through our mail provider. Payments are handled by Waffo Pancake. We receive subscription status, the email used at checkout, and the billing period. We do not receive your full card number.

API keys

An API subscription gets a key stored on our server so you can copy it from your account page. Send it only over HTTPS.
